Frauenkirche, Dresden

A heap of rubble was all that was left of one of Dresden's most beautiful buildings at the end of WWII. But that was not the end of the church whose history goes back a 1,000 years. In the 1990s a unique rebuilding project started which was supported by people from all over the world.
