Beechmount Avenue / RPG Avenue

The RPG-7 weapon was used by the Provisional Irish Republican Army in Northern Ireland from 1969 to 2005, most notably in Lurgan. The IRA also used them in Catholic areas of West Belfast against British Army armoured personnel carriers and Army forward operating bases (FOB). Costa neoRomantica

A picture from Valletta, Malta. Costa neoRomantica (formerly Costa Romantica) is a cruise ship for Costa Crociere completed 1993 as a sister ship to Costa Classica and was refurbished in 2003. Her public rooms are decorated with rare woods, Carrara marble, and millions of dollars in original works of art. There is also a full luxury spa aboard. Her decks are named for well-known European cities: Monte Carlo, Madrid, Vienna, Verona, Paris, London, Copenhagen and Amsterdam.

In November 2011, Costa Romantica underwent a €90 million refurbishing. Two new half decks were added as a part of the refurbishment. This increased the gross tonnage of the ship from 53,000 to 56,000 tons. After the refurbishing, the ship was renamed neoRomantica and started her first journey with the new name during March 2012.

More fun in the Philippines. A picture from Kalibo. The town of Kalibo is the capital of the province of Aklan, one of the four provinces comprising the island of Panay, the sixth largest island in the Philippines. Aklan is a relatively new province in the Philippine atlas.

The province of Aklan is bounded on the West by Antique, on the south by Capiz, on the northwest by the Sulu Sea, and on the east by Sibuyan Sea. It has a total land area of 192,190 hectares with 17 towns and 317 barangays.

Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep - # 80

Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep är ett av Thailands största watkomplex (tempelområden), beläget 15 kilometer norr om Thailands näst största stad Chiang Mai i norra Thailand. Det kallas ofta bara Doi Suthep, vilket egentligen är namnet på det berg där det är beläget. Det är förstås ett populärt turistmål. Foto: Anders Thorsell.

Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep is a Theravada Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. The temple is often referred to as "Doi Suthep" although this is actually the name of the mountain it is located on. The temple is located 15 km from the city of Chiang Mai and is a sacred site to many Thai people. From the temple, impressive views of Chiang Mai can be seen and it remains a popular destination of foreign visitors.

Saratov

Saratov ligger i sydvästra Ryssland, och är administrativ huvudort för Saratov oblast samt generalguvernementet Privolzjskij. Den ligger på västra sidan av floden Volga och har cirka 840 000 invånare. Namnet kommer från tatariska sara' och tau' som betyder vackert berg. Staden grundades 1590.

Staden har ett eget universitet som är ett av de äldsta i Ryssland, många högskolor samt viktiga kemiska, byggmateriella, maskin-, flyg-, vitvaru- samt livsmedelsindustrier. Den har också en internationell flygplats, väsentligt järnvägscentrum och större varv. Saratov har broförbindelse med staden Engels, oblastets näst största stad, på andra sidan Volga.

Waiting for tourists at the Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Ukrainian: Майдан Незалежності, literally: Independence Square) is the central square of Kiev, the capital city of Ukraine. One of the main city squares, it is located on the Khreschatyk Street. The square has been known under many different names, but it became known simply as the Maidan due to the political events that took place there in 2004 after the Ukrainian accession to independence.

The Hanoi Opera House is an opera house in central Hanoi, Vietnam. It was erected by the French colonial administration between 1901 and 1911. It was modeled on the Palais Garnier, the older of Paris's two opera houses, and is considered to be one of the architectural landmarks of Hanoi.
