Dubaiviken, Dubai Creek, är det engelska namnet till trots ingen flod utan en 10 km lång havsarm med smal mynning som skapar en utmärkt naturlig hamn. Platsen har länge varit bebodd och är sedan 1833 kärnan i emiratet Dubai med den gamla staden och hamnen Bur Dubai på ena sidan och det traditionella kommersiella centrumet Deira på andra sidan med bland andra krydd- och guldsouk.

Dubai Creek or Khor Dubai is a saltwater creek located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It ends at Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary.

Zhuhai

I Zhuhai, Kina, råder ett frodigt tropiskt klimat och staden stoltserar med sina trädgårdar. Mer än 80 procent av stadens yta på 7 660 kvadratkilometer utgörs av hav och med sina 146 öar kan Zhuhai skryta med fantastiska stränder och orörd natur.

Zhuhai is a prefecture-level city on the southern coast of Guangdong province in the People's Republic of China. Located in the Pearl River Delta, Zhuhai borders Jiangmen to the northwest, Zhongshan to the north, and Macau to the south. Zhuhai was one of the original Special Economic Zones established in the 1980s. Zhuhai is also one of China's premier tourist destinations, being called the Chinese Riviera.

Durrës is the second largest city of Albania located on the central Albanian coast, about 33 km west of the capital Tirana. It is one of the most ancient and economically important cities of Albania. Durres is situated at one of the narrower points of the Adriatic Sea, opposite the Italian city of Bari.

For a cacophony of people, fish and noise head to the Thiri Mingalar market of a morning – but you better go early. Myanmar people like to get up and get their trade going before sunrise. It’s a good oportunity to mix with local people, see how they use ice to keep the fish cool and pick up something good to eat.

Erawan shrine - # 83, 84

The Erawan Shrine in Bangkok, Thailand, was built in 1956 as part of the government-owned Erawan Hotel to eliminate the bad karma believed caused by laying the foundations on the wrong date. The hotel's construction was delayed by a series of mishaps, including cost overruns, injuries to laborers, and the loss of a shipload of Italian marble intended for the building. Furthermore, the Ratchaprasong Intersection had once been used to put criminals on public display.

An astrologer advised building the shrine to counter the negative influences. The Brahma statue was designed and built by the Department of Fine Arts and enshrined on 9 November 1956. The hotel's construction thereafter proceeded without further incident. In 1987, the hotel was demolished and the site used for the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel.

A popular tourist attraction, it often features performances by resident Thai dance troupes, who are hired by worshippers in return for seeing their prayers at the shrine answered. On 21 March 2006, a man vandalised the shrine and was killed by bystanders.

Mainly due to its similarity to the 1951 Swiss tourism slogan 'It’s More Fun in Switzerland,' the phrase has since become a subject of captioned parodies and spawned hundreds of tongue-in-cheek image macros based on the phrasal template 'X, More fun in the Philippines.'

It offers scheduled flights to both domestic and international destinations. Cebu Pacific Air is currently the country's leading domestic carrier, serving the most domestic destinations with the largest number flights and routes, and equipped with the youngest fleet. Cebu Pacific carried more than 10 million passengers in 2010.

Iloilo international film festival - # 93

The Film Development Council of the Philippines and the local government of Iloilo held the 2012 Iloilo International Film Festival on January 19-21 at the SM Cinema in Iloilo City. This was the second year that the FDCP, in partnership with the city government of Iloilo under Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog and SM Iloilo, was staging a film festival in the city, after the first successful festival in January 2011.

Ratchaprasong, Bangkok - # 94

Ratchaprasong is the name of an intersection, and a shopping district named after it in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, adjacent to Siam District. Located at the BTS Skytrain's Chit Lom Station and the intersection of Phloenchit, Rama I and Ratchadamri Roads. The area is home to many shopping malls and hotels.

Sliema - Malta

Ordet Sliema betyder frid, vilket syftar till att orten en gång i tiden var en liten stillsam fiskeby tvärsöver den stora hamnen i Valletta. I början på 1900-talet utvecklades Sliema väldigt fort till en semesterby för invånarna i Valletta. Längs med Sliema går en fantastisk strandpromenad som är flera kilometer lång och som är perfekt att både och jogga på. Längs promenaden finns det även en hel del sittplatser där man kan slå sig ner och njuta av den vackra vyn över Valletta åt ena hållet och det öppna havet på andra sidan.
På kvällarna fungerar strandpromenaden som en mötesplats för lokalbefolkningen där de sitter och pratar långt in på natten.

Valletta - Malta

Valletta är en stad på ön Malta och huvudstad i republiken Malta. Enligt folkräkningen 2000 har staden 7 048 invånare. Valletta grundades av Johanniterordens ledare Jean Parisot de la Valette den 28 mars 1566, då orden, som länge hade regerat över ön, valde att grunda en ny stad på Scebberrashalvön precis efter slutet av Maltas belägring. Valletta, Malta’s capital and a World Heritage site, is nothing short of an open-air museum. It is a living experience of Baroque architecture, a monument donated by the Knights of St John nearly five centuries ago. Throughout the years, Valletta has welcomed emperors, heads of state, artists and poets and is now the permanent seat of the Maltese government.
